Luca Walter Mariani is a film maker and producer of audiovisual projects born in Milan. He worked his way up on the set of film clips and commercials. Thanks to his job as an EMT and driver for the EMS, he started exploring the documentary field. He mixed the direction of brand products with tales about people who became characters. He worked in many productions as an assistant director and director for commercials for tv and websites. In 2018 he made his first short film Padre Gemelli, a biopic about the founder of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in which he mixes documentary and fiction. In Milan in 2019 he founded Moka Lab, a union of professional of audiovisual productions that puts together the different jobs needed to create web/tv commercials, documentaries, (company and private) reportages, short films. As an independent director, his work is dedicated to documentary films, mixing them with an aesthetic visual inspired by authors such as Gianfranco Rossi and Roberto Minervini. Thus he directed the documentary films Aplha Bravo Tango (2020), a family tale of the first lockdown during the pandemics, now distributed by 7Palm Entertainment; Luca Walter Mariani is a film maker and producer of audiovisual projects in Milan. MICH: Cantieri e Umani (2021) produced by Archizero e Mokalab; Seed Boom (2022), about young activists from Senegal fighting climate change, produced in collaboration with NutriAid Internationa, the EU and Regione Piemonte.
