Istituto Italiano di Fotografia organizes photography exhibitions, displays, meetings and photographic events open to the public in Milan and in Italy. The goal is to showcase students and alumni, because it believes that education shouldn’t be limited to the classroom and it should include developing a culture of images. Istituto Italiano di Fotografia publishes monographic publications, photobooks and collective photography projects.

The photography exhibitions, both collective and individual, organized by IIF participate in several national and international photo festivals, among which Milano Photo Week, Milano PhotoFestival, Biennale dei Giovani Fotografi di Bibbiena, Photo Vogue Festival and many others.
