Istituto Italiano di Fotografia has been training professional photographers for 30 years in Milan. It’s also a photography agency that creates communication projects for institutions and companies. IIF produces editorials, ADVs, catalogues, monographic publications, brochures, photos for social media and websites.

Istituto Italiano di Fotografia organizes photography exhibitions, displays, meetings and photographic events open to the public in Milan and in Italy. The goal is to showcase students and alumni, because it believes that education shouldn’t be limited to the classroom and it should include developing a culture of images. Istituto Italiano di Fotografia publishes monographic publications, photobooks and collective photography projects.

Created in 1992, Istituto Italiano di Fotografia (IIF) isn’t just a multifunctional and innovative school where images are seen as an advanced expressive language, but also a visual communication, photography productions, events and exhibitions lab at companies’ disposal. Thus, IIF isn’t just a “photography institute” or an “academy of photography” that organizes professional photography courses like any other, but a true research facility about visual communication that has become a benchmark in Italy and abroad by now.
