Alessia Locatelli

Alessia Locatelli is the Art Director of the Biennale of Female Photography – BFF and co-Director of the Enrico Cattaneo Archives. She is an independent curator and she organizes exhibitions with organizations and private entities, and at the same time she continues working as a project consultant. She writes for some specialized magazines and she is the critic representative of Dossier Fotografia at “CAM, catalogo di arte moderna” (ex-Bolaffi) Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori – Gruppo Cairo. She teaches in several photography schools and she has been a teacher and visiting professor in many universities. She is part of the juries of international awards such as the British Journal of Photography, and she is a portfolio reviewer and curator at several PhotoFestival such as Les Rencontres d’Arles. She is a Nominator for the prestigious Prix Pictet. She helps authors choose the paper and the materials to use for conservation. She is an advisor for photography collectors.
